Let's be real. Yes, it's hard.
Are you struggling? Feeling like a failure at fitness? Don't have enough time? Not getting enough sleep? There is too much to do? Too much stress? Where do I start? Why am I constantly "restarting"?
The thing is. This is LIFE. Everyone keeps calling it restarts, but it's just part of life. It's not the first and it's not the last time it will happen.
We have to stop making a big deal out of it. Just get up and go. Pick one thing. It's no different then when the house gets out of hand and you need to clean it. Do you just say I give up? Do you sometimes not know where to start? But finally you pick one thing, maybe it's the dishes, or the laundry, or vacuuming, or dusting, it doesn't really matter. What works is you pick one thing and you just start doing it.
If you have to stop and rest and pick it up later that's what you do.
If it was easy everyone would do it. I don't care what kind of cliche that is. It's true. Look around you.
This is me, right now. I'm sitting right here in this office. Think I get overwhelmed and want to quit? Heck yeah. But I know how life works. We rest when we need to rest. But just pick one thing and keep going after your rest:
Yes, I know I'm not always pretty. And I'm in the trenches right now fighting with you.
